EXPECTATIONS TOOLS: What is expected of you? One important and often overlooked part of measuring and managing satisfaction with any role, job, position, or relationship, is understanding what expectations that all of the stakeholders bring to the situation.
The SDI Expectations Edition (originally Job Interactions Inventory) provides an objective forum to get everyone's expectations into the open and on paper so that they can be compared and discussed in a non-threatening and non-judgmental way. Comparing the results from the Expectations Edition with results from the Strength Deployment Inventory can reveal how you might borrow strengths or change expectations to be more effective and have a higher level of satisfaction in a situation or relationship.
